Leverage Investigations is trained and certified to utilize a forensic software called iVe created by a company called Berla. We are one of the few private entities licensed in the united states.
Modern vehicles generate 25gb of data PER HOUR (and that is rapidly growing). That data is generated by the car CAN BUSS system during regular vehicle operations. As well it contains data contributed by the passengers in the vehicle as they connect devices and interact with the car. Don't confuse this with "EDR" (event data recorder) or the black box within a car, while not a primary source for crash reconstruction, depending on the vehicle ans system installed it will recover data for reconstruction.

The different data types that can be acquired vary by vehicle. By proving us with a VIN and Year make model trim, we can predict what data should exist based upon manufacture's details.
This is a NON-DESTRUCTIVE process. (there are some exceptions)
